🍂 Autumn 2026 Newsletter
As the seasons change and we swap summer shoes for boots and warmer shoes, it’s easy to forget about our feet. They carry us through thousands of steps each day and deserve the same care and attention as the rest of our body.
For over 30 years, we have been helping the residents of South London and beyond overcome foot, ankle and posture-related problems. So here are a few tricks to help keep you active over the coming months.

Autumn Foot Health Tips
✅ Avoid wearing damp or wet shoes. They can make a fungal infection more likely.
✅ Avoid wearing the same shoes on consecutive days. Let shoes air / dry before wearing again.
✅ Replace worn-out trainers or walking shoes, as poor, unsupportive footwear can contribute to foot, ankle, knee and back pain.
✅ Check your feet regularly for athlete’s foot, verrucas or nail infections, as these are all better treated quickly before they spread or become infected.
✅ Keep your feet moisturised to help prevent dry, cracked skin, which can increase the risk of infections like verrucas.
✅ Don’t ignore foot pain. Persistent discomfort is not a normal part of ageing and can often be treated successfully.
✅ Stay active. Regular walking and exercise help maintain strength, flexibility and circulation.
